Parrastoel is the perfect hideout and offers comfortable accommodation for up to 6 people.
It consists of a spacious entertainment area, complete with a wood-burning hot tub with a valley facing deck outside. Also inside are comfy leather couches and chairs, a dining table, a mobile four-plate gas stove cabinet, an indoor fireplace/braai and awe-inspiring vistas into forever all around.
From there you step into a spacious fully equipped kitchen with a large countertop for prepping and another comfy couch which can fold out to sleep two people. On the one side of the kitchen, you can walk into the two en-suite bedrooms. One with a queen-sized bed, overlooking the hot tub, deck and valley beyond.
The second bedroom with two single beds, which can be converted to one King-sized bed, looks out over the beautiful hill at the back.
The spacious en-suite shower rooms both consist of a basin, toilet and a large-head shower.
On the other side of the kitchen is an outside dining area with more endless sweeping views over the surrounding valleys, mountains and millions of miles of virgin oxygen blue skies. Hence the extreme star gazing experience at night.
The scenic mountain hiking route can be followed from the outside dining area, up the hill and zigzagging across the reserve. Magnificent fynbos welcomes you wherever you set your eyes.
It is rustic, beautiful, wild and wonderful.
The wood fire hot tub is popular as a hot or cool pool in the daytime and enjoyed to relax in at night or during the colder days.
Being predominantly cob-build, the temperature inside is very moderate.
Parrastoel is fully equipped for self catering stays including a fully equipped kitchen.
Our eco-friendly, thatched, straw bale and cob rondawels offer a rustic and quirky space where guests can expect nothing less than soul feeding tranquillity and peace.
Each of our self-catering units are equipped with everything guests may need for a total break from the hustle and bustle of hectic lives. TV, Wi-Fi and all the contemporary technical amenities are EXCLUDED, for peace of mind and well-being.
